High molecular weight polyethylene idlers
The material characteristics of high molecular weight polyethylene rollers are wear resistance, impact resistance, self-lubrication, corrosion resistance, impact absorption energy, low temperature resistance, health and non-toxic, not easy to adhere to, not easy to absorb water, and small density.
Different from metal rollers, we use ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMW-PE), which has the best mechanical and physical properties among engineering plastics, as a material to make roller faces and seat covers. Compared with traditional materials, it has outstanding advantages in performance.
The molecular structure of high molecular weight polyethylene is a winding linear arrangement, so its impact resistance is extremely high. Acting on the roller, it will not break due to long-term rotation, fall or impact. The friction coefficient of high molecular weight polyethylene products is very small, similar to the ice surface. As a roller surface, it can effectively reduce the friction with the belt surface, thus extending the service life of the belt. Good wear resistance, is the best wear resistance of all engineering plastics. Experimental data show that its wear resistance under relative conditions is 5-7 times that of carbon steel or stainless steel. This alone makes its service life more than three times longer than that of steel rollers. Good corrosion resistance. At normal temperature, any concentration of acid, base, salt, sulfur and other corrosive media are difficult to produce chemical reactions with. As a roller, do not have to worry about corrosion, rust problems. Water absorption is very low (0.01%), so its own adhesion resistance is excellent, even in the water or oil medium, dust will not stick on its surface, scaling. As a roller, one does not have to worry about the surface of the adhesive material and bite the belt, and the other does not have to worry about the rotating resistance due to the scaling of the rotating part. The specific gravity is very light, only about 0.94, which is 1/8 of carbon steel. As a roller, the installation and replacement is easy and convenient, and the operation is noiseless, reducing the working intensity and purifying the working environment. With double resistance (antistatic, halogen-free flame retardant) characteristics (MT558.1-2005), applied in coal mines and other special environment, safety can be guaranteed.

Instructions for use
1. The appearance of the roller should be carefully checked for serious bump and damage before use, and the rotating roller should be flexible without jamming.
2. The installation distance of the roller should be determined by scientific calculation depending on the type of logistics and the characteristics of the conveyor, so as to avoid too sparse or too dense installation.
3. Roller installation should be adapted to avoid friction between each other.
Maintenance
1. The normal service life of rollers is more than 20000h, generally do not need maintenance. However, according to the size of the use site and load, the corresponding maintenance date should be formulated.
Timely cleaning oil injection maintenance, timely cleaning floating coal, etc. Rollers with abnormal sound and do not turn should be replaced in time.
2. When replacing the bearing, the opening of the bearing cage must be outward. After the bearing is loaded into the roller, proper clearance should be maintained, and it should not be crushed.
3. Labyrinth seals should be made of original parts, which should be installed in rollers respectively when assembling, and should not be assembled together.
4. When using the roller, avoid heavy objects from hitting the roller tube body.
5. In order to ensure the sealing performance and service performance of the roller, it is forbidden to disassemble the roller at will
